MOEVOCATIONAL INSTITUTE (ANG MO KIO CAMPUS)
SINGAPORE
ARCHITECTURE | INSTITUTE
Inspired by 60’s Constructivism, this vocational training institute was the first of its kind dedicated to technical education and apprenticeship in Singapore. The industrial Brutalist aesthetic reinforced the idea of workmanship, tradesmanship and the celebration of technical skill and ability. The single-span vaulted metal roofs were a technical achievement as they were first major curved metal roofs of their size by the Lysaght metal roof company in Singapore.
